17th Annual Best Buck in the Bay

Contestant Information

The Best Buck in the Bay is an IGRA Rodeo Series Event and will follow all rules governing such rodeos.

$7500.00 in prize money added!

Bull Riding: $1,250
Bareback Bronc Riding: $1,250
Barrel Racing: $1,250
Pole Bending: $1,250
Flag Racing: $1,250
Breakaway Calf Roping: $1,250

This money will be split evenly between the men's and women's events each day. All added prize money will be awarded on the weekend of the rodeo. In the event that no contestant receives a qualified time/score for one of the events on a given day, that day's money for that event will be divided and awarded to all contestants who attempted the event. If there are no participants of one gender for a particular event on a given day, the added money that would have been awarded will roll up into the payout for the All-Around Cowboy or Cowgirl for the whole weekend.

*New Contestants are always welcome but must register between 6 and 9 p.m. on Friday, August 15, 2008 6 PM - 9 PM at the Host Hotel. If you think that you are going to be a new contestant, please let the Rodeo Director know so that a buddy can be assigned to you for the weekend. There will be a mandatory New Contestant Meeting half an hour after registration closes in the same location.

*All contestants compete in the gender category with which they self-identify.

*IGRA Contestants must mail their entry forms to P.O. Box 14126, San Francisco, CA 94114 or complete their entry form securely on-line at https://igra.com/login/index.php no later than Friday, August 1, 2008. If you are using the mail in option, please make sure you include your $46.00 USD deposit.

*Contestant Registration will be Friday, August 15, 2008 6PM - 9PM at the Host Hotel.

*Our Contestant Award Ceremony will be held this year at the rodeo grounds on Sunday after the rodeo.
