Latest Chapter News

Wednesday, August 9, 2006

The chapter certainly ended the month of July with a big hurrah! Our "Buckin' Alley" dance was a huge success both in terms of attendance and with the very popular "country sale" we had going on. Then the very next day, we managed to sell over $17,000 dollars in margaritas and raised a significant amount of tips from our Margarita Booth at the "Up Your Alley" fair. All of this goes a very long way to meeting the annual fundraising goals of the chapter and it couldn't have happened without the hard work of so many of you. Thank you to everyone who volunteered their time and helped make it a fantastic weekend!

We are now just over 30 days away from the Best Buck in the Bay and we couldn't be more thrilled with all that we have in store. The production team is firing on all cylinders and the final details are falling into place. You can count on one heck of a great rodeo and festival this year. We could really use your help getting the word out and inviting everyone you know to join us. Email your friends. Post some links online. Talk it up at parties. And, maybe, even take a bit of time to help us distribute flyers, postcards, and other collateral to your local establishments. Every little bit of extra promotional effort really adds up.
