Happy New Year to All!

We can all look back on 2006 with a lot of pride. It was a great year for the Bay Area Chapter filled with many wonderful dance and community events, two fantastic rough stock rodeo schools, and a very successful rodeo weekend. Thank you again to the outgoing board, committee chairs, and many volunteers for all you did to make it happen.

At out annual meeting in December, your 2007 board was elected and today they officially step up to their roles for the year ahead. They are:

- Eric Hanson, President
- Travis Gardner, VP of Administration
- Mikel Edwards, VP of Rodeo Operations
- Chris Caufield, Treasurer

The position of Secretary was left vacant, but should be filled by vote of the members at our chapter meeting in January.

Selection of 2007 Beneficiary

Every year the Bay Area Chapter selects a charity in the Bay Area as the official beneficiary for fundraising efforts throughout the year. With the new year upon us, it's time to take up this important conversation again. All members are encouraged to bring their suggestions for the 2007 beneficiary to the chapter meeting on January 16th for discussion and consideration.
